My Mother's Day Peony from last year opened up last Sunday. It was sooo beautiful for about a week and as of today it is all gone. I have heard that about Peonies...that is a shame that their flowers fall apart so quickly. I take it as a reminder of how fragile each and every living thing is and to not take a moment for granted.
